Roy and Sandra McCoy

Roy G. McCoy, age 86, of Mayville, born August 26, 1933, to Roy O. McCoy and Grace Holmes, and died on November 1, 2019.

Sandra L. McCoy (nee Lazich), age 79, of Mayville, born April 9, 1942, to Michael Lazich and Thelma Kuehn, died on January 30, 2022.

A graveside service for Roy and Sandy will take place on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville with a luncheon to follow at the Mayville Golf Course (The Meating Place) from 12-3 p.m.

Roy and Sandy were partners in marriage and life. They were truly soulmates. They loved their home and their pets. In Roy and Sandy’s spare time, they enjoyed playing golf, visiting the Horicon Marsh, and they cherished the time spent in the great state of Georgia. From the time they met, they lived their life together in love till the end.
Roy sense of humor was always entertaining! He also served his country honorably in the US Air Force.

Sandy had a love of nature and the Horicon Marsh and always looked forward to her weekly ride out there with her beloved dogs- Ben and Emma.

Roy is survived by his children- Ellen Edgreen, Lisa (Ron) Miller, Michael (Beverly) McCoy, Thomas McCoy, Matthew (Lori) McCoy. His 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. His sister- Patricia (Dave) Elvers. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Curtis McCoy, and sister Lucy Childers.

Sandra is survived by her siblings- Robert (Sue) Lazich, Diane (Stan) Rabideau, Debra (Ron) Lazich/MacCudden, and Geraldine ‘Geri’ (Michael) Dresen. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
