Ruth J. Krysan

Ruth J. Krysan, age 95, of Mayville passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.Ruth was born the daughter of Earl and Laura (Jirikowic) Dueno on November 14, 1924 in Manitowoc. She was a 1942 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Ruth was united in marriage to William Krysan on July 24, 1948 in Manitowoc. Ruth had worked as secretary to the Administration of the Manitowoc School District. In her spare time Ruth enjoyed birdwatching, baking, and was an avid reader.Ruth is survived by her daughters- Kristine Genrich of Mayville and Laurie (John) Westphal of Mayville. Her grandsons- David Westphal and Scott Westphal of Mayville. Her beloved cat companion- Bella. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, and a sister in infancy- Shirley.A private celebration of Ruth’s life will be held.Memorials may be directed to the Mayville Public Library.
