Sally L. Hughes

Sally L. Hughes, age 79, formerly of Lowell, died on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam. Visitation for Sally will be on Friday, August 26th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Rd, Beaver Dam and on Saturday, Aug. 27th from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Lowell. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Vander Galien. Burial will follow at Lowell Cemetery. Sally was born on March 19, 1937 in Pepin, Wisconsin to the late Xavier and Margaret (Hetrick) Annen. On August 15, 1959, she was united in marriage with LaVerne Behling, Sr in Deerfield; he preceded her in death. On June 24, 1978, she was united in marriage with Joseph Hughes in Lowell; he also preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Linda (Joe) Dziadek of Kaukauna, LuAnn (Rick) Heintz of Jay, FL, Lisa (Brian) Magli of Columbus, and LaVerne (Michelle) Behling, Jr of Winder, GA; her step daughter, Theresa (David) Casperson of Burnett; seven grandchildren, Timothy Behling, Cassandra (Sherman) Opperman, Renee Heintz, Shanna (Joel) McCubbin, Clint (Charity) Kalinowski, and Malissa (Scott) Pamenter, Megan Casperson; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Heather, Emily, Savannah, Mason, Madison, Alexyss, David, Landyn, Camryn, Olivia, Launa, Chase and Ella, her brother, Joseph (Neva) Annen, Sr.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sally was preceded in death by her parents and her first and second husbands. If desired, memorials may be made in Sally Hughes’ name to Salem Lutheran Church in Lowell.
