Sean R. Giesick, age 52, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at his home, when his heart broke.The memorial gathering will be held at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Military honors will follow at the funeral home on Monday. Sean will later be inurned at Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King.Sean Robert Giesick was born on October 3, 1965 in Kansas to Robert and Patricia (Patrick) Giesick. Sean loved to golf, grill, spend time with fellow vets, was a Star Trek fanatic, but most of all he loved to talk about how proud he was of his daughters and all their accomplishments.Sean is survived by his daughters, Hannah (Michael Laundrie) Giesick of Green Bay and Ally Giesick of Beaver Dam; brothers and sisters, Brett (Cathy) Giesick of Savannah, GA, Tim Giesick of Kansas, Tricia Weber of Temple TX, Tracy Buechel of Horicon, and Steven (Allison) Buchholz of Monona; former wife, Tammy Giesick of Fond du Lac; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; step dad, Otto Buchholz; parents-in-law, Walton and Marion Sether; and his “son”, Harley McGee the dog.If desired, memorials may be made to the family.The Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is caring for the family.
