To Sharon's family,
Not until we all went to the Bay St. Louis area, post Hurricane Katrina, did I/we know Sharon and/or Dick. How much I appreciated their spirit and presence in that mission to help others. The energy of love and compassion expressed from Sharon was memorable. Gd has a plan. Elaine and John Mullin
Dick, Brooke, Heather, Jacob, Mason, Elaina, and Addie you are such a part of my life because Sharon shared you all with me. What a beautiful family you are and, for sure, the love of Sharon's life. My heart broke when I heard the news and will never be the same. I lost such a dear, dear friend that helped me through so many difficult times. My deepest love and sympathy goes out to all of you and Nettie, too. I will continue to talk with Sharon daily, just now in my prayers!!
I didn't know Sharon very well, but I knew her well enough to experience her kind nature and positive attitude. I am so sorry for your loss, and I am praying our dear Lord, in whose arms she now rests, will provide you with His comfort, strength, and peace.
Dick and Family, Sharon was one of the most loving, unselfish, and faithful women I have known. She seemed to always put her family, God and others before herself. She is an example for all of us to follow. Karen and I send our deepest condolences.
Dick, Joy and I just want to let you know how shocked and saddened we were when we got the sad news about Sharon. I had the privilege of working with her during the years when she worked at Jefferson School. She was such a sweet, caring person; everyone who knew her loved her. I know that you and your family are going to miss her dearly; but I also know that she's with her Lord right now--and that's a wonderful and comforting blessing.
We are very sorry for your loss. May the Lord comfort you during this difficult time.
The only thing I know for sure is that Sharon Heckel would not come back to the people she loves so dearly now that she's seen Heaven. Her rewards are many and her joy is immeasurable. She will be missed by all who know her. Love, prayers and hugs to Nettie, Dick, Heather, Brooke, Bob and their families. A true prayer warrior and a dear woman. Sherry Jenkins

Sharon was a good and loving person, always willing to help others. She always had the most wonderful smile that would light up any room where she was. The world is darker now deprived of her smile, but she is lighting up the eternal heavens with that smile. We all have wonderful memories of her. Be at peace with God, Sharon.
Not only were Dick and Sharon neighbors in Ft Pierce, Sharon was a Lakes End sister and will be truly missed. Love and prayers to Dick, Brooke, Heather and families.
