Sharon L. Petroselli, age 81, of Mayville, formerly of Lowell passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Crossroads Care Center in Mayville.
In honoring Sharon’s wishes, a private celebration of her life will be held.
Sharon was born the daughter of Alvin and Lorraine (Wylie) Olson on March 9, 1941, in Milwaukee.
Sharon was a hard worker with strong work ethics. She was a sun goddess that loved working on her tan. She loved the outdoors and liked to do yard work and enjoyed her swimming pool, especially when friends and family were there to enjoy it with her. Sharon also loved taking care of the birds and loved to feed them and watch from a distance. The cardinal was her favorite. She was a very talented singer in her earlier years and was active in the choir at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Johnson Creek. Sharon also enjoyed going to see bands and loved dancing to the music. While at home, she always had music playing. She was also very fond of her fur babies (kittens). Sharon also looked forward to Christmas, it was her favorite holiday.
Sharon is survived by her children- Kim Olson of Mayville, Jamie (Jeff) Vick of Columbus/Tomahawk, Ricky Strohbeen of Watertown, Curtis Strohbeen of Milwaukee, Heidi (fiance’ Tarek) Petroselli of Tomah, and Billi Jo (Randy Giesecke) Petroselli of Tomah. Her 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Her siblings- Albert (Debra) Olson of Osseo, Gene Olson of Fort Atkinson, Della Olson of Clyman, and Jerry (Elizabeth) Olson of Lake Mills. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Michael Olson, sister Joanne Henson, sister-in-law Claudia Olson, and niece Michelle Olson.
