Sharon A. Lyon, age 70, of Rubicon, died on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center Washington County in Hartford.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no formal service and cremation has taken place.
Sharon was born on November 11, 1952 in Columbus, Wisconsin to Eugene and Catherine (Drolshagen) Lyon. She graduated from Columbus High School and worked for 16 years at Earl’s Café in Columbus. She then worked for the Columbus Police Department as a dispatcher and was very proud of her dedication to the department for 27 years. Sharon looked forward to going to Brewer games each season with Roger and Cindy and was eager for Spring, when she could plant flowers on the patio. Sharon was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing a meal for anyone who stopped by. She also enjoyed decorating cakes for any occasion.
Sharon is survived by her fiancé and love of her life, Roger Weissmann of Rubicon; her beloved dog, Pepper (better known as “puppy”); sister-in-law, Cynthia Weissmann; special loved ones, Aimee and Jeremy Berndt; nephews, godson Terry Lyon, Curtis Lyon, and Travis Lyon(Angie); nieces, Carmen (Jeremy) Keating and Catherine Migacz; sister, Debora Lyon; brother, Robert Lyon; great nieces and great nephews, Josh, Samantha, Ambrosia, Kaela(Cody), Aiden, Jaxon, Trenton, Madison, Laikken, Alexis, and Damion; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her cherished dogs; Niki and Sam; best friend Harvey Deal; godfather, Peter Drolshagen; parents; sister, Marlene; brother, Randy and nephew, Shawn.
