I connected with Sheila from her employment at Panera Bread in Madison. I "kinda" thought I knew her as we are both from Columbus and I had bowled with her mom years ago. She was fun to talk to and share stories of Columbus and the town we both knew. Sheila was always polite and gracious as she would take my order. If the line wasn't too long then we would both chit-chat about the weather, upcoming events. Sheila was actually the one to got me hooked on Panera's mac 'n' cheese. Thank you for sharing that with me. In the long run, you shared more than you ever said because you were always there for all the guests of Panera each and every day until you were not. I will miss you, Sheila, and I wish you love and light always. Deepak Chopra, a new age, spiritual thinker, medical doctor, author and scholar, stated this, which has helped me immensely, and I share it here: "Grief is always difficult, but it is part of being human, and learning to allow grief to move as it wants to is important." To Sheila's family, friends and co-workers, we all got to share her presence while she was here and while she is no longer in the physical, I sense that she will be around. Just watch. She will be just a breath away because in the end, love is all there is.
There are no words. I feel so sad for her family. I've known Sheila since kindergarten. I have so many fond memories of her. Saw her last, two years ago - and we had lots of fun looking at old pictures and reminiscing. She has a fun "wild" side to her and an infectious laugh. My deepest sympathy to everyone who loved her. I feel blessed to have known her and call her a friend.
