Shirley Nehmer

August 16, 1950 - December 26, 2006

Shirley Jean “Pepper” (Bong) Nehmer, age 56, of Beaver Dam and formerly of Madison, died on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at her home.
Friends and family may call at the time of the memorial service on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at the Eagle”s Club 2109 Bartillon Dr, Madison, at 11AM. Pastor Robert Moberg will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Blooming Grove Cemetery.
Shirley was born on August 16, 1950 in Madison, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Monday) Bong. Shirley was loved by many family and friends. She was one of a kind. Her trademark of bright red hair and stiletto heels will never end. We will love and cherish her forever.
Survivors include her two daughters, Shontell (John) Baeseman of Columbus, Tanya Westedt of Sun Prairie; her four grandchildren, Trevor, Ariel, Jacob and Travis; her father, Joseph Bong of Madison; her five sisters, Diane (Marty) Griffin of McFarland, Sonya Quamme of McFarland, Debra Baker of McFarland, Loreli Bong of Madison and Lindy Mueller of Beaver Dam, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth; her sister, Sharon Hotchkiss and her ex-husband, Dale Nehmer.

dear shontal and tonya I am sorry to hear about your mother I just heard a few days ago. I just wanted to reach out and tell you I am sorry for your lose and that I will miss her also. what you did not know is I am fighting my second battle with cancer my first was back in 2006 I was sick for 13/4 yrs so I did not get around much and I did not hear anything until just a few days ago. so I am sorry for your lose. good luck to you and yours in the future. always Jeff

Shirley was a beautiful person inside and out! I will never 4-get all the times I shared with her and the girls.I wish that I could have had the chance to tell her how much she meant to me in my younger years and how all the memories we all made together will stay with me forever.I will miss her and her beautiful light.I love you Shirley!! It has sadden my heart to hear the loss of Shirley , since I had just lost my brother Dale. I do believe that they will see each other in heaven and that God will watch over them. Again please except my deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
