Stanley Armond Adelmeyer, 85, of Lomira was called home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2025, surrounded by his family.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Stanley will take place on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira with Rev. Fr. Nathaniel Miniatt presiding. A visitation for Stanley will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira. Interment will follow the service at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lomira.
He was born on June 3,1939, the second oldest of 14 children of the late Armond “Jack” and Monica (nee Weber) Adelmeyer in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He grew up in Knowles, Wisconsin. Stanley was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira. He worked for many years as a painter at Maysteel Corporation in Mayville. Stanley enjoyed fishing and camping with his children in his younger years. He was an avid bowler and loved golf. He loved his gardens and the neighbors that helped him maintain them. The gadget king as many knew him. He especially loved time spent with family and will be missed by many.
Those Stanley leaves behind to cherish his memory include his children, Patricia (Gary) Oelke, Jay (Jen) Adelmeyer, Jodie (Geoff) Baumhardt, Jeff (Lindsay) Adelmeyer, Son in Law Bradley Brockhaus. 11 grandchildren, Christopher (special friend Emily) Lucas, Ashley Lucas, Tyler Swinson, Katelyn (Joe) Pollari, Noah Adelmeyer, Natalie Adelmeyer, Brandie (special friend Jim) Boeder, Kenadie Baumhardt, Garrett (special friend Rachel) Rentsch, Darryl (Bethany) Rentsch, Austin (Summer) Rentsch. 4 great grandchildren, Isaac Webb, Brendan Webb, Lilly Reyes, Dakota Pollari. 3 brothers Ronald (Inge) Adelmeyer, Mark (Darlene) Adelmeyer, and Keith “Beattle” Adelmeyer; five sisters, Kathy Roth, Bonnie (Roger) Karlin, Jane (Ralph) Langenecker, Ruth (Thomas) Mischo, and Pamela Schwartz. Brother in laws, Mike Batzler and Lloyd Hanke, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two daughters, Julie Adelmeyer and Debi Brockhaus, his grandson, Ryan Webb, four sisters, Donna Hanke, Joyce Staerzl, Renee Batzler and infant sister, Gwen Adelmeyer; infant brother, Richard Adelmeyer; brothers-in-law, Robert Staerzl, John Roth Jr. and Dale Schwartz; his nieces, Erika Mischo and Tracie Adelmeyer.
The family would like to thank the staff at SSM Hospice and Visiting Angels for their support in his final weeks.
