Stanley E. Herrick, age 65, of Madison Wi., died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at his home in Madison. There will be a graveside service for Stanley at Oxford Village Cemetery in Oxford, Wisconsin on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Carrie Schuett officiating. Stanley Earl Herrick was born on October 17, 1955 in Madison, Wisconsin to Wesley E. and Faye (Goodhue) Herrick. He attended University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he majored in economics. Stanley finished school in 1977 and began working at Swiss Colony. In 2017, he retired as office administrator. Stanley loved his family and his coworkers from Swiss Colony that he considered family. We know Stanley is a free bird and as the lyrics would say from his favorite band… “If I leave here tomorrow would you still remember me? For I must be traveling on now, ‘Cause there’s too many places I’ve got to see.” Fly high Stanley. Stanley is survived by many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and other relatives. Memorials may be made in Stanley E. Stan the man. You know I had to call you that as I always have, I sit here thinking about the times that A.Joyce and I would come down and go to lunch for your Birthday , we would sit and visit for hours, you know that I always enjoyed those times, oh!! and the times that as kids we would listen to the beatles I envied you for that collection of them and the marble game I believe all of cousins have played with that, and the memories come flooding in. And the time that we went to the concert of The who's and some other groups I was lost in the big city but you rook me in and said follow me we'll be ok, and we were. I'll close this telling you farewell till me met again!! Sing with the Angels, maybe a Beatles song Love always, cousin Sherry

Stanley was our good neighbor for many years. We will always remember Stan in our hearts. The Doug Hull family.

I hold many fond memories visiting Aunt Faye, Uncle Wesley & Stan!
