Thomas H. Schumaker

Thomas H. Schumaker, age 81, of Iron Ridge passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at his home.A memorial service for Tom will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. A visitation will take place from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home in Mayville. Military Honors will follow the service presented by the Mayville American Legion Post #69.Tom was born the son of William H. and Margaret (Kronzer) Schumaker on August 24, 1937. He was united in marriage to Janet Waterman on June 23, 1973 in Illinois. Tom was a born sales man and worked for Northern Light in Milwaukee and enjoyed traveling during his sales trips. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and was passionate about football especially the Green Bay Packers.Tom is survived by his children- Linda (Rob) Ebert of Williams Bay, Jospeh Schumaker, Amy (Jesse) Raddatz of Iron Ridge, and Saffiyah ‘Pamala’ (Bassem Elayek) Schumaker of Ada, MI. His grandchildren- Amanda (Wayne) Hartwig, Aaron Wolter, Zachary Pasbrig, Justine Schumaker, and Stephanie Schumaker. His great grandchildren- Arianna Hartwig-Dickinson and River Hartwig. His 2 sisters- Barbara (Thomas) Roncke of Pewaukee and Margie (Tom) Hutnik of Ladysmith.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Janet, great grandson Bo, and brother Fred and William Schumaker.
