Verne H. Damrow, age 65, of Reeseville, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. The visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church in Reeseville on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon Rev. Matthew Martin will officiate and burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Verne Harold Damrow was born on October 9, 1951 to Harold and Angeline (Schmidt) Damrow. He was a 1969 graduate of Lowell-Reeseville High School. While in school, Verne was extremely active with the 4-H Club and FFA. Verne worked countless hours alongside of his dad, maintaining the family farm. He married Lois M. Kohn on May 14, 1977 and they eventually took over the farm. Verne was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Reeseville and was a board member of Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Association for many years. His stories, smile and laughter will be missed by so many. Survivors are Verne’s wife, Lois; a sister, Ramona (Adelbert) Voigt of Beaver Dam; parents-in-law, Gene and Mary Lou Kohn of Reeseville; brothers-in-law, James Kohn of Juneau, and Sherman Williams of Fond du Lac; nieces and nephews; extended relatives and so many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Crystal Williams. If desired, memorials may be made in Verne Damrow’s name to the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Association.
