Sending sympathy to your family at this time of loss. Your mom was a wonderful person, always so caring and friendly.
Sorry for your loss, thinking of your family
I will always remember Aunt Violet and what a sweet person she was. One time Aunt Violet came into Chicago for a short visit and she came out to the Hala Kahiki a Hawaiian bar that my best friend and I love. The three of us went out on a girls night and Aunt Violet had the best time. I have great memories of Aunt Violet from my grandpa Orv. Aunt Violet May you Rest In Peace.
Violet was a sweetheart. I always got a kick out of her when she would mention Weasel. It was always "Alan" and all of us always called him "Weasel". I can still remember her little laugh and the smile that she always had on her face. She always appreciated the occasional Mallard or Canada Goose that I'd drop off for her back when I hunted ducks & geese. I'm afraid Eileen & I will not make it to the funeral on Saturday. Mandatory Saturday overtime at John Deere as usual.
Granny, you meant so much to all of us. You were the definition of love and kindness. You were an amazing role model, someone we all looked up to. You had a special bond with everyone in your life. Truly an angel who walked the Earth. You will be greatly missed. We love you.
