Wilbur L. Vick

Wilbur L. Vick, 77, of Beaver Dam passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 23, 2017 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac with his family by his side. A visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. Rev. Collin Vanderhoof will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam at a later date. Wilbur was born the son of Lawrence and Marion (Weidemann) Vick on April 25, 1940 in Columbus, WI. He was a 1959 graduate of Juneau High School. He was employed with Maysteel for 35 years until his retirement. Wilbur was married to Margaret Hilty on June 26, 2005 at Silver Springs Campground in Rio. Wilbur was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. He loved the outdoors especially camping with his family and friends. He loved driving his tractors, and enjoyed going on his “Will” rides on the country roads. Wilbur is survived by his “honey,” Marge of Beaver Dam; his children: Shawn Krueger (Butch Feuerhammer) of Campbellsport, and Ellie (Brad) Gulbrandson of Burlington; his brother, Robert (Joan) Vick of Beaver Dam; his nephew, Robby (Chelle) Vick; his niece, Julie (Adam) Schmiedlin; his special loves of his life, his grandchildren: Vinny, Sydney, Sophie, and Lyndsey; Britney and Austin Feuerhammer; his favorite granddogs; as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
