Willard “Bill” Bauer, 89 years old, of LeRoy, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 10th at 5:30 p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, LeRoy, with Rev. Father Tom Biersack presiding. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 10th from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. at St. Andrew Church. A private family entombment will take place on Saturday, April 11th at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac. Willard was born on August 24, 1925 to Herman and Sabina (Huber) Bauer in LeRoy, WI. He was united in marriage to Stella Nellessen on August 30, 1952 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy, WI. Bill was employed by the Dodge County Highway Dept. until his retirement. Bill was a lifelong member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy. He enjoyed deer hunting in Glidden, WI. Bill enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers, playing horseshoes, and traveling to casinos. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.Bill is survived by: his wife Stella of LeRoy; his children- Sharon Wollerman of Neenah, Cindy (Hank) Hechimovich of Horicon, Renee (Dean) Schwartzmiller of Mayville, Ron (Judy) Bauer of LeRoy, Brian (Shawn) Bauer of Mayville, Lori (Darryl) Wasmund of Mayville, Lee (Dawn) Bauer of Mayville, and Ann (Brad) Mueller of LeRoy; his sisters- Marion Ruddy of DePere and Patricia Sternat of Lomira; his brother Eugene (Arlien) Bauer of LeRoy; his sisters-in-law- Lorraine Bauer of Mayville and Patsy Nellessen of Fond du Lac; his grandchildren- Melissa (Rob) Ernst, Tricia Wollerman, Shanna Hechimovich, Brad (Amy) Hechimovich, Blaine Hechimovich, Lucas Hechimovich, Nikki Schwartzmiller, Eric (Jessica Bettack) Schwartzmiller, Kasey Schwartzmiller, Corey Bauer, Tasha (Tyler) Gruett, Troy (Rachel Woolever) Bauer, Brianna Bauer, Ashley Bauer, Cody Wasmund, Jesse Wasmund, Genesis Miller, Abbie Mueller, and Brandon Mueller; his great grandchildren- Tyson Gruett and Alec Ernst; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his son-in-law David Wollerman, his granddaughter Kayla Hechimovich, his brothers Richard and Dennis, and his brothers-in-law Gordon Ruddy and Arnold Sternat.
