William “Bill” D. De Ford

William “Bill” Douglas DeFord, age 60, of Brownsville, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee with his loving wife by his side.

A Celebration of Life for Bill will be held at Trinity Methodist Church in Lomira from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024.

Bill was born on March 14, 1964, to Darcy and Joyce (Larsen) DeFord in Milwaukee. He attended John Marshall High School in Milwaukee. He was united in marriage to Rhonda Zarling on May 14, 1988, in Milwaukee.

Bill loved building cars with his dad. He enjoyed attending car shows with his family as well as fishing, hunting, and boating. Bill was intrigued by WWII history and was an avid reader. He loved playing board games with his family and playing video games.

Bill is survived by his wife Rhonda; his mother and father-in law Ronald (Ardith) Zarling; his sister Jody (Jack) Doss; sisters-in-law: Judy (John) Ish and Gail (Tim) Perrin; nieces and nephews: Jared (Shelby) Doss, Jake (Heather) Doss, Jessica (Ricky) Larson, Justin (Kaylene) Doss, Jack Doss, Joyce (Darrian) Doss, Andrew Ish, Brian (Katie) Ish, Lisa (Steven) Borowski, Amanda (Dave) Moore, and Kyle (Nicole) Perrin. Bill is further survived by great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his niece Jillian.
