William E. Barrett, 64, of Beaver Dam passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023.
William was born on August 4, 1958 in Fort Atkinson, WI to James and May (Walling) Barrett. He was a 1976 high school graduate. Bill served his country in U.S. Marine Corps. Bill was a truck driver for 20 years until his retirement. Afterwards, he drove taxi in the Beaver Dam area.
Bill loved his motorcycle and was an avid deer hunter. He enjoyed playing online poker in his free time. He was a good cook and enjoyed trying new recipes. Bill will be remembered as a very good father who made many sacrifices to take care of his family.
Bill is survived by his children: Lacyee of Beaver Dam, Willy (Victoria) of Claremore, OK, Cheyenne of Waupun, Jessica of Fort Atkinson, and Jamie of North Pole, AK; his siblings: Barb of North Freedom and David (Kim) of Merrimac; his brother-in-law Justin; his grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Brenda; infant daughter Angel; son-in-law Daniel; and siblings: Kathy, J.R., Bonnie, Michael, and Roger.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Military honors will immediately follow at the funeral home.
