Wilma E. Gillmore

Wilma E. Gillmore, 97, a resident of Clearview Long Term Care, Juneau passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Rd., Beaver Dam with the Rev. Allie Scott officiating. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Wilma was born the daughter of William and Minnie (Donsing) Lauer on April 27, 1918 in Kenosha, WI. She was a 1936 graduate of Kenosha High School, and attended UW-Madison. Wilma was married to B. Frederick Gillmore on August 24, 1937 in Kenosha, WI. Wilma was a dedicated homemaker, and in her later years, she enjoyed volunteering with the United Methodist Church with the Volunteers and Missions program. Wilma was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church and most recently of the Juneau United Methodist Church. Wilma is survived by her five children: Betty (David) Kuhaupt of Juneau, Bonnie (Gerald) Helgeson of Juneau, Nancy (Neil) Witte of Colby, James “Jim” (Rita) Gillmore of Rochester, MN, and Addie (John) Bahls of Juneau; 19 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; her niece, Sharron (Jake) Brockhaus of Norwalk, WI; her nephew, Kenneth Smith of Bristol; as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1990, her brother Wilfred “Bill” Lauer, and her sister Louise (Gordon) Smith.
