Adell R. Henderson, age 95, of Juneau, died on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the Clearview Group Home.
Friends and family may gather for a visitation at the Murray Funeral Home in Horicon on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 10:00 AM until the time of service. The funeral service for Adell will be held on Saturday at 12:00 Noon, with Pastor Elaine Gerth officiating. Inurnment will take place at Graceland Cemetery, in Mayville, at a later date.
The former Adell Ruby Splitt was born on July 5, 1912 to the late Frank and Tillie (Jantz) Splitt in Crystal Falls, Michigan. On October 12, 1929 she was united in marriage with Earl Henderson in Waukegan, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1996. Adell worked at John Deere Horicon Works for 25 years as a Mail Clerk. Later, she became a member of Horicon Senior Citizens and also served as a past President. Adell was a member of Our Savior”s Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge.
Adell is survived by her children, Patricia (Alvin) Weidman of Juneau and Douglas Henderson of New Berlin. She has also been blessed with ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Adell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earl, an infant daughter, Elda Mary, a special friend, Harvey Pahl on July 24, 2004 and a son, Ronald Henderson on October 12, 2005.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Adell”s name to Our Savior”s Lutheran Church. The Murray Funeral Home in Horicon is serving the family. Online condolences may be made on our website at www.MurrayFH.com.
