Allen L. TerLaan, 61 years, of Beaver Dam passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with the Rev. Dr. Mark J. Molldrem officiating. Visitation for Allen will be on Thursday, Aug. 6th from noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mackford Prairie Cemetery in Markesan, WI.

Allen Lee was born the son of Theodore and Frances (Belover) TerLaan on December 1, 1947 in Dodge County, Wisconsin.

Allen proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He had been employed at the Weyenberg Shoe Factory and at Burgess-Norton Manufacturing for many years. He was currently employed at Wal-Mart in Beaver Dam. Allen loved to go fishing in the many area lakes.

Allen is survived by his sons: Michael(special friend, Jenny Lenz)TerLaan and Mark TerLaan both of Beaver Dam and his four grandchildren: Shania TerLaan, Rhianna VanLoo, Cody TerLaan and Jordan Roberts. He is also survived by his sisters: Loraine Garlow and Donna Schultz both of Beaver Dam also his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Duane and Gerald.
