Visitation: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28th at 11:30 am until the time of service at 1 pm at the church, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mayville, Wisconsin.
Ann G. Stipanovic, 78, of 1439 Dayton St., Mayville, died on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 1 p.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mayville. The Rev. Tom Biersack will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Mayville. Friends may call on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the church.
Ann was born on May 20, 1930, in Mayville, the daughter of Peter and Josephine (Dejanovic) Persha. She was married to Nick Stipanovic on June 14, 1952, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Ann was employed at Mayville Shoe Factory, Tab Products, Mayville, and at the Mayville Inn. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Mayville. Ann enjoyed sewing, crocheting and handmade crafts.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly (Bruce) Christian, Mayville, and Judy (Pat) DeNucci, Eden Prairie; three sisters, Helen Uecker, Iron Ridge, Katherine Krause, Sheboygan, and Mary (Marvin) Schmeling, West Bend; one brother, Nick (Sue) Persha, Mayville; in-laws, Vlasta Mazar, Illinois, Marian Persha, Hustisford, Cathy Persha, Manitowoc, Annie Benzel, Mayville, Mildred Chapman, Watertown, Danny (Jeanette) Stipanovic, Mayville, and Florian Belligan, Michigan; grandchildren, Mike and Steve Christian, and Nick and Kyle DeNucci; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nick in 1975; mother-in-law, Donixa Stipanovic, and brothers, Dr. Daniel Mazar, Emil Persha and Joe Persha.
