Ardell J. Tarr, age 86, of Beaver Dam, died on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
The visitation will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Thursday, December 14, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jim Wendt officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
Ardell Joan was born on July 2, 1937 in Wittenburg, Wisconsin to Russell and Bertha (Kieckhafer) Long. She married Oscar Davids and later married Jeff Tarr on July 30, 1994 at First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Ardell was a nurse and cared for many over the years. She worked at Beaver Dam Hospital, Daybreak in Horicon and Clearview in Juneau. Ardell also worked a number of years for Lutheran Social Services. She was a long-time member of First Ev. Lutheran Church.
Ardell is survived by her husband, Jeff of Beaver Dam; children, Diane Davids of Waupaca, Jean Davids of Nekoosa, Dale Davids of Clintonville and Vicky Burens of Beaver Dam; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sister; sons, Jerry Davids and Joel “Joby” Davids; and granddaughter, McKenna.
