Arlene “June” Prock, age 85, died on Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.
A visitation will be held at the Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The funeral service for June will follow at the funeral home on Thursday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Scott Roen officiating. Inurnment will be at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spooner, Wisconsin, at a later date.
The former Arlene June Boyle was born on July 10, 1923 to the late Virgil and Florence (Lindsley) Boyle. On March 10, 1959 she was united in marriage with Bernard F. Prock in Minnesota. June worked for more than 20 years at Clearview Nursing Home, in Juneau, as a CNA. She had a love for all animals, especially her horse, Socks and Jill, the cat from Golden Living Center. June was a member of the Saddle Club in Rice Lake and was a supporter of several different animal organizations.
She is survived by her daughters, Chris (Ronald) Moran, Beaver Dam, Ann (Larry) Christian, Tulsa, OK, grandchildren, Anjanette (Dwain) Beechey, Lodi, Pamela Tennessen, Horicon, David Hahn, Horicon, Daniel Hahn, Oak Creek, and Nicole (Dan) Pearsons, Kelliher, MN, eight great grandchildren, a sister, Genevieve Silk, Tequesta, FL, brother-in-law, Gordon Thulin, Red Granite, special frends, Sandi and Russ Zieske, Beaver Dam, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard, two sisters, Mildred Weber and Patricia Thulin, and a great grandson, David Tennessen.
The family suggests that memorials be made in June”s name to the Golden Living Center, 410 Roedl Court, Beaver Dam, WI, 53916.
