Services: Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 23 at 11 am from St. Luke Ev. Lutheran Church, Knowles, Wisconsin.
Visitation: Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22nd from 4 till 7 pm at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, Wisconsin and also on Friday from 10am until the time of service at the church.
Armond W. Schreiber, 85, of N10482 Highway AY, Mayville, town of Lomira, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at his home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 23, at 11 a.m., at St. Luke Ev. Lutheran Church, Knowles. The Rev. Matthew Kuske will officiate. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery, Knowles. Friends may call on Thursday, Jan. 22, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, and on Friday, Jan. 23, from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.
Armond was born on Jan. 9, 1924, in the town of Williamstown, the son of William and Margaretha (Villwock) Schreiber. He was married to Evelyn Heldt on Oct. 20, 1951, in Brownsville.
Armond farmed in the town of Lomira and retired from Pillsbury Canning Co., Mayville. He was an active member of St. Luke Ev. Lutheran Church, Knowles, where Armond served on various boards, as an usher and on the cemetery committee. He was an active member of Knowles Fire Department for 63 years, where he served as former fire chief and treasurer. He also served on the Dodge County Civil Defense and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; two daughters, Linda (Robert) Schraufnagel, Mayville, and Luann (Ray) Antonioni, Lomira; grandchildren, Eric (Karina) Schraufnagel, Kristin (Tom) Mitchell, Jeremy Schraufnagel, Craig Antonioni, and Michelle Antonioni; great-grandchildren, MaKayla, Kiana and Kaisyn; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren.
