Services: A memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, at 3 pm at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville, Wisconsin.
Visitation: Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6 from 6 until 8 pm at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville, Wisconsin and also on Tuesday, April 7 at 2 pm until the time of the service at 3 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville, Wisconsin.
Barbara J. Kriehn, 70, 957 Mary Lane, Lomira, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac.
A memorial service for Barbara will be Tuesday, April 7 at 3 p.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville. The Rev. James Mallmann and Rev. Matthew Shive will officiate.
Visitation is today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville and on Tuesday, April 7, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. service at the church.
Barbara was born May 29, 1938, in Eau Claire, daughter of Harry and Irene (Zweck) Balz. On June 15, 1985, she was united in marriage with Eugene R. Kriehn at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville.
She attended Wausau High School and was employed at the West Bend Company. Barbara was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville, served the church as a greeter, and worked at St. John Day Care. Barb enjoyed the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers, trips to the casinos. She enjoyed cooking, won several soup cook offs and most of all enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene; her children, Roxanne (Earl) Staley, Fla., Alex Petri, Kenosha; Sheri (Perry) Whitty, Fond du Lac; Brian Kriehn, Waukesha, Dennis (Carol) Petri, Fond du Lac, Jackie (Phil) Marheine, Merrill; Doug (Kathy) Kriehn, Mayville, Norm (Renee) Petri, Mayville, Sally (Raymond) McNeary, Ga., Chris (Fred) Jones, Wallworth, Kelly (Terry) Westberg, Brantwood, Tom (Lisa) Kriehn, Fla., Tracy Grimes, Lomira; sisters and brothers, Rosalie Lineweaver, Wausau, George (Rory) Coushman, Nev., Pat Radtke, Mosinee, Richard (Betty) Baltz, Ladysmith, Carolyn (Don Wallendal) Kriehn, Wild Rose; 26 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
