Barbara M. Neuenschwander, age 70, died Monday, October 12, 2009 at her home in Reeseville surrounded by her family.

Visitation for Barbara will be held at the Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home on Saturday, beginning at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be at Lowell Cemetery.

The former Barbara Mae Boeck was born on May 1, 1939 in South Wayne, Lafayette County, Wisconsin to the late Clarence and Gladys (Broege) Boeck. She graduated from Belleville High School in 1957. On January 24, 1959, she was united in marriage with Alvin Neuenschwander in Belleville, Wisconsin. Barb enjoyed sewing, baking, family gatherings, camping, and traveling, especially traveling to the different National Parks

Survivors include her husband, Alvin Neuenschwander of Reeseville; two children, James (Kerry) Neuenschwander of Neosho and Debra (Randy) Gave of Minneapolis, MN; five grandchildren, Vanessa Gave, Jeffrey, Kathryn, and Jacob “JT” Neuenschwander; and Isaiah Cooperman; a step granddaughter, Kaitlyn Cooperman; a brother and three sisters, Betty Dunlavey, Larry Boeck, Martha Funk, and Linda Pernot, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by parents, her son, Michael Alvin Neuenschwander, and her brother, Fredrick Boeck.

The family suggests that memorials be made in Barbara Neuenschwander”s name to the Hillside Hospice, 709 S. University Avenue, Beaver Dam, WI 53916.

Alvin.. I do not know if you are the person I worked for at the Westside dairy in Hartford. If not my condolences go out to you any how. I live in Casa grande Az for the past 32 years. Arthitis caused me to move to the warmer climate. Mary seen this on the internet which she checks every so often. Once again so sorry for your loss.
