Betty A. Haferman, age 88, of Juneau, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Randolph Health Services.
Betty Ann was born on October 31, 1934 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Anton and Gladys (Lawrence) Wienke. On February 19, 1969, Betty was united in marriage with Howard Haferman at Trinity United Methodist Church in Beaver Dam. She worked as a nursing assistant at Beaver Dam Hospital and Clearview Nursing Home for many years until her retirement. Betty had a love for gardening and being outdoors. In her spare time, she enjoyed golfing. Over the years, Betty raised several different Samoyed dogs and she adored the companionship she received from them.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Pamela Haima Stoner; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2017; her former husband, John Haima; and a twin sister, Beverly Hughes.
In keeping with Betty’s wishes, there will be no formal services and cremation has taken place.
