Betty L. Franke, 91, of Beaver Dam passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
Betty was born on October 16, 1933 to Ervin and Nellie (Strobusch) Ulbricht. She was married to Randall L. Franke on December 25, 1956. Betty was employed with the Weyenberg Shoe Factory in Beaver Dam until her retirement.
Betty was an avid collector and loved to rummage with her friends. She enjoyed camping with her husband, family, and friends as well as riding motorcycles with her friends. Betty loved listening to country music and enjoyed anything western.
Betty is survived by her children: Randall (Sandy) Franke of Horicon and Randa (Jeff) Hoffmann of Beaver Dam; six grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; as well as other relatives and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Randall in 2004; brother Eugene Ulbricht; father-in-law Leonard Franke; mother-in-law Esther Franke; and nephew Roy Ulbricht.
A visitation will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Rex Cemetery, township of Hubbard.
Betty’s family would like to thank the staff of Eagle’s Wings Assisted Living, Hillside Manor, and Hillside Hospice for all their care and support.

My deepest sympathy. Betty and I worked at the shoe factory together. I went with her and Randy when she got her first tattoo. We snowmobile a couple times. She was a sweet lady. Love going to her home in the jct. May memories of her give your family comfort. God bless.

I’ve always known her as Grandma Betty. She was my parents maid of honor and treated my mom like a daughter. She treated my sister and I as her grandkids.
One of my favorite memories was visiting her and Randy in the junction and seeing all of the fun yard art. She would let us climb on the old tractors and get sodas out of their vintage machine.
