Beverly J. Desjarlais, 92, of Columbus passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau.
Beverly was born on February 26, 1931 in Columbus to Otto and Alma (Lueders) Baker. She was married to Clifford Desjarlais Jr. on June 19, 1948 in Columbus. Beverly was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She loved butterflies, fishing, and going sledding at Astico Park. Beverly enjoyed playing bingo and taking trips to the casino. She also enjoyed traveling and taking bus tours with Carol’s Tours. Beverly loved the time she spent with her family.
Beverly is survived by her children: Debbie Rusch of Fort Atkinson, Tom Desjarlais of Florida, Daisy Williams of Fall River, Bonnie (John) Garcia of Plainfield, IL, Dave “Turtle” Desjarlais of Columbus, and Nina (Ron) Warren of Beaver Dam; grandchildren: Jeremy Waugh, Brian Waugh, Dawn Williams, Michael Williams, Elizabeth Kilian, Wendy Thomas, Deanna Moon, Damon Desjarlais, Shannon Cain, Sheila Friedel, Jason Bennett, Jenna Wagner, Danielle Schmid, Matthew Schmid, Emily Kosterman, Katy Moretti, Patrick Desjarlais, Sara Henning, Josh Henning, Hannah Hobbs, Hailey Warren; many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clifford in 2000; three children: Michael and Robert Desjarlais and Bernie Bennett; granddaughter Kristina Hoover; and sister Bernice Lange.
A private family graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens, township of Trenton, WI.
