Beverly J. Weinheimer, 83, of Beaver Dam passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.
Beverly was born on January 20, 1943, in Neda, WI to Mathias “Matt” and Evelyn (Weginger) Hoffman. She was a graduate of Mayville High School. Bev was married to Chester W. Weinheimer on July 29, 1977, in Beaver Dam. She was employed as head secretary at the Hartford Middle School for 33 years until her retirement.
Bev loved spending time at her and Chet’s cabin on Lake Puckaway and boating on their pontoon boat. She was secretary and treasurer of the Puckaway Rod and Gun Club for 25 years. They were able to create many wonderful memories with family and friends during their time there. Bev had a love for all animals, especially her dog Maxine and her special cat Kitty. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Bev was dedicated to caring for her father after her mother passed away. She was a proud mother and enjoyed watching Andy’s ski shows. Bev was never without her Pepsi and will be remembered for her sassy and spicy personality.
Bev is survived by her son Andy (Lindsay) Weinheimer of Horicon; her daughter Amy (Kevin) Bartels of Waunakee; grandson Bryson Weinheimer; granddaughters: Sarah (Ryan) Quick, Heather (fiancé Trevor) Bartels, and Gracie Bartels; brothers: Matt Hoffman Jr. of Brookfield and Johnny (Beve) Hoffman of Markesan; sisters-in-law: Taddy Hoffman, Norita Hoffman, and Bonnie Hoffman; former sister-in-law Louellen Hoffman; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Chet in 2013; and siblings: Robert, Tony, and Jerry Hoffman and Patricia Grissman.
A visitation will be held at First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Rev. Jim Wendt will officiate. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dodge County Humane Society or to the Puckaway Rod and Gun Club.
