Great supervisor at Bethesda! Great friend in Christ! Great servant of Jesus!
I will always remember when I was still somewhat new to the faith, and recently joined Peace Lutheran Church, Bonnie welcomed me to Bible study with a big arm around the shoulders hug! And she meant it too.
My sympathy to the family.
Oh, my dear Bonnie.....how I will miss seeing you in the hall and sitting and talking with you. We had serious talks and we had funny talks. Your smile lit up the room. Seeing you dance behind your walker was a joy. We were the two Bonnie's of the building. We connected and had an immediate love for one another. You were "the Cats"!!! When we met we'd sing "My Bonnie lies over the ocean". I know you are in Heaven and dancing without that darn walker...LOL RIP, my dear friend. (<3)
To the family, I send my deepest condolences to you. I know how proud she was of all of you. Let your memories of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother live on.
Sincerely,
Bonnie Daniels
Among Bonnie’s favorite memories were her times as a House Mother at one of the residences for students at Bethesda. Barb Thomson was one of those resident students. They became very close lifelong friends. Barb shared this picture of them taken back in August when she visited Bonnie’s to celebrate her 94th birthday.
We aren’t sure who wanted and enjoyed that cake more. :) Bonnie with AO Kruse (great great nephew).
We had an opportunity to enjoy a potluck with Bonnie for the birthdays of the month including Bonnie! Pictured here with Skyler Kruse (Marcelines Grandson).
We are so sorry to hear about Tanta. She was such a special woman and we are so glad we got to spend time with her in Beaver Dam where she was able to meet her great great nephew AO Kruse. Bonnie pictured here with Debby, Onie, Skyler, and AO.
Love this Sprengel family. So glad we got this group together at Kurtis’ in honor of her 94th birthday last August.
Sending our love to Karl, Korey, Kurtis and family. Your mom/grandma was one special force of nature. She loved her family so much and she will be in our hearts and minds forever. This picture is from a lot of years ago. It’s with her sister Marceline (mom of the other girls pictured and grandma of our nephew Matthew, the fellow in the middle). Those were very happy times. All of us were so very blessed to be her nieces and nephews. We affectionately called her Tanta (the German word for ‘aunt’). Rest in eternal peace Tanta.
