Brenda L. Hardy, age 56, of Lowell died Monday, October 24, 2022 at Bedrock Health Care in Watertown.
There will be a memorial gathering at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on November 4, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 4:30 p.m.
The former Brenda Lee Schoenwetter was born on March 4, 1966 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Rodney and Phyllis (Beske) Schoenwetter. On July 8, 1989, she was united in marriage with Robert L. Hardy. After graduating from Dodgeland High School in 1984, she went to work at Aunt Nellies in Clyman. Brenda worked there as a security guard and in janitorial services for many years. She later worked at Jim’s Cheese in Waterloo. Brenda also tended bar at several area taverns through the years. Brenda loved the outdoors. She enjoyed ice fishing, hunting, shooting trap, and going to the Beaver Dam race track. She also enjoyed shooting pool, going to the casino and playing Bingo. However, her favorite thing to do was spend time with her pride and joy, her grandson Kayden.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Hardy of Lowell; her son Rodney Hardy (Jamie Wilson) of Lowell; her grandson, Kayden; her great nephew and “grandson”, Karson; a sister-in-law and “daughter”, Leneva (Nate) Earl of Reeseville; her mother, Phyllis Schoenwetter of Adams; two sisters, Sharon (Neal) Yerges of Reeseville and Lynn Schoenwetter of Adams; four additional sisters-in-law, Debra Hardy of Reeseville, Patricia Schisel of Sparta, Lynnette (William) Briggs of Texas, and Dawn (James) Stark of Sparta; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Rodney Schoenwetter; her sister, Karen Clark; her brother-in-law, Jeff Clark; and her sister-in-law, Tammy Vian.
