Brian K. Gorr, age 62, of Beaver Dam, died on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
The memorial gathering will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:50 p.m. The memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Richards officiating. Following the service, there will be a celebration of Brian’s life at Pumpkin Center Sportsman Club from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Brian Keith was born in Beaver Dam on May 6, 1961 to Gerald and Donna (Zimmerman) Gorr. He married Jeanette Laue on August 6, 1983 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau, Wisconsin. They enjoyed traveling to tropical destinations and motorcycle rides. Both he and Jeanette loved watching the Packers and Badgers together, the Brewers also, when she made him. Brian worked as a semi driver for Beaver Dam Hospital and Ptaschinski Construction, and he worked for many local farmers. He was an avid outdoorsman and lifetime member at Pumpkin Center Sportsman Club.
Brian is survived by his wife, Jeanette; sons, Jonathan Gorr (Rachel Schraufnagel) and Brandon (Kim) Gorr; two beautiful grandchildren, Payton Gorr (Sidney) and Adaliene Gorr; brothers and sisters, Cindy Gorr, Butch (Dawn) Gorr, Susan (Bob) Waller, Todd (Deb) Gorr, Beth (Steve) Bennett and Jenifer (Andy) Lindendoll; mother-in-law, Minnie Laue; sisters-in-law, Beverly Laue and Barb (Richard) Schmidt; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and special friends; Khris Allar, Cindy Cook, Jessica and Troy Engebretson, Jim George, Scott McDermott, Tommy Owens, Bud Benter, as well as his beloved dog Sydney. He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Mervin Laue; nephew, Troy Gorr; brother-in-law, Gerald Laue; and great nephew, Alex Sell.
