Carol E. Soldner, age 73, formerly of Reeseville, died peacefully on October 13, 2017 at the Charleston House Memory Care in Beaver Dam. The visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church in Reeseville on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. The funeral service will follow at the church on Friday at 12:00 noon with Rev. Matthew Martin officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Carol Sack was born on July 14, 1944 to Aaron and Alma (Fiarri) Sack in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. She was united in marriage with Walter “Bud” Soldner on October 27, 1962 at Salem Lutheran Church in Lowell. Carol and her husband farmed in the Reeseville area for a number of years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and baking. Carol had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed bird watching. She worked at the Bethesda thrift shop in Watertown for several years. Carol was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a member of the Ladies Aid. Survivors are Carol’s children, Lisa (Doug) Zimmerman of Deerfield, Laura (Gordon) Zuehlke of Beaver Dam, and Annette (Lawrence) Stebnitz of Reeseville; grandchildren, Scott and Keri Zimmerman, Julie and Tyler Zuehlke, and Christopher and Jason Stebnitz; a brother, Harold (Audrey) Sack; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2004; and a brother, Eugene Sack. Memorials may be made in Carol E. Soldner’s name to Trinity Lutheran Church. Carol was a wonderful women. I loved working with her and loved getting her up every morning. She mostly had a smile in the mornings. She was just the best to be around.
