Carol J. Woldt, age 75, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2026.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Carol was born on January 16, 1951, in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Edwin and Margaret (Stronach) Lund. She was united in marriage to James Woldt on June 20, 1970.
Carol worked for many years at Goodyear Tire before retiring in the early 2000s. Throughout her working years, she proudly raised her three children and made her family her greatest priority.
She was a dedicated member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshall, where she served on the church council and gladly helped with church garage sales, chili cook-offs, spaghetti dinners, and many other activities.
Carol found joy in the simple things in life. She enjoyed knitting and reading, especially crime novels, and she had a deep love for animals—particularly horses and her beloved dog, Sadie. And then there was Christmas. For Carol, Christmas wasn’t simply a holiday; it was a way of life. Christmas music could be heard playing in her home at any time of year, and it was not unusual to discover a Christmas decoration proudly displayed in the middle of summer.
A devoted Brewers fan, Carol rarely missed a chance to cheer on her team. Her family likes to think that this year, she has found the best seat in the house, cheering them on from above.
Carol is survived by her husband, James; children, Scott Woldt (Gina Zinuticz), Stephanie (Robert) Taylor, and Justin (Kay Kromm) Woldt; grandchildren, Jacob and Addelyn Woldt, Riley and Chloe Taylor, and Alisha and Claire Woldt; brother and sisters, Alice (Gene) Hensen, Judy Hoffman, Thomas (Nancy) Lund, and Kristina (Steven) Johnson; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank all the staff at The Meadows of Fall River and Bristol Hospice for all the compassionate care that was given to Carol.
