Cheri L. Weinberger, age 58 of Newport News, VA, formally of Mayville, WI passed away on Monday , May 16, 2011 at the Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA.

Cheri was born the daughter of James and Ardis (Giese) Kobishop on August 14, 1952 in Waupun, WI. She was united in marriage to her husband Dave Weinberger on September 11, 1971 in Mayville at St. Mary Catholic Church.
Cheri was a graduate of Mayville High School. She was a former member at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mayville and a current member at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hampton, VA.
Cheri is survived by:, her husband; Dave, her mother; Ardis (Florian) Sterr of Mayville WI., mother in law; Delores Weinberger of Mayville, WI. 1 sister Georgia (John) LaBomascus of Lake Geneva, WI., 2 brothers; Brian (Dolly) Kobishop of Mayville,WI, and Todd (Jodi) Kobishop of Waupun, WI. sisters in law; Clara Weinberger of West Allis, WI., Joan (Jim) Noren of Kewaskum, WI., Beth (Russ) Hartwig of Green Bay, WI., Laure (Wayne) Hartwig of Mayville, WI., brothers in law; Richard (Elaine) Weinberger of North Fond du Lac, WI., Jordan Weinberger of West Bend, WI., Jake (Judy) Weinberger of Mayville, WI., and Peter (Wendy) Weinberger of Mayville, WI. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and father in law and grandparents.
