Clara J. Schulz, 87, of Beaver Dam passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Charleston House Memory Care in Beaver Dam.
Clara was born on September 16, 1938 in Milwaukee and was raised by her mother Clara Mae (Bonner) Russell. She was a graduate of Washington High School in Milwaukee. Clara was married to Charles F. Schulz on September 22, 1956 at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She along with her husband farmed their family farm. Clara was a longtime member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She was the family caregiver and will be remembered as a wonderful grandma.
Clara is survived by her sons: Robert Schulz of Ogdensburg and Ronald (Ann) Schulz of Beaver Dam; grandchildren: Melissa (Kyle) Schulz, Austin (Chelsey) Schulz, Dalton Schulz, and Derek Schulz; great grandchildren: Aiden and Theo Schulz and Emmett and Carly Schulz; sister-in-law Natalie Russell; nephews: Steve (Courtney) Russell and Rick Russell; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles in 2016; and brother George Russell.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. Rev. Paul Stratman will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
