To the family of Clarence, I had the privilege of growing up with this family during the 1960's. I have kept in touch with them for many years. Slick as he was known to me helped my father and family during the rough times. He confided in me that when we were being bullied in high school he came over to let them know he was defending us if and when we needed him. That was the end of bullying at the school bus after school. He was always a good worker. He and his family used to cut log's and drag with horses down the hill to be loaded onto my dad's truck. If I remember correctly, he was one that went up into trees to cut limbs down with a chainsaw. He was very good at it. Later in life he had many trials and tribulations but remained strong throughout his life. I will miss and always remember him as a friend I could count on.
Rest in peace Uncle Clarence
