Dale A. Ravanelli

Dale A. Ravanelli, 82, of Mayville, passed away peacefully on September 22. 2026, at Kathy Hospice in West Bend.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Dale will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mayville with Rev. Fr. Zachary Galante presiding. Visitation will take place at the church on Thursday, October 1, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service.

Dale was born on July 21, 1944, to Nick and Josephine (Hechemovich) Ravanelli. He was a graduate of Mayville High School.

Dale was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Judy Ojstrsek, on January 6, 1973, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Allenton. Together, Dale and Judy built a life rooted in family, faith, hard work, and their love for the land. Dale and Judy spent their lives farming together in the Town of Herman, where they built their home, raised their family, and shared countless memories together. Dale was also a proud employee of Michels Pipeline for over 20 years.

Dale was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mayville. His faith and family were important parts of who he was, and he treasured the time he spent with those closest to him.

Outside of farming, Dale enjoyed dirt track racing, collecting guns, and hunting. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and took great pride and joy in his grandchildren. Some of his fondest memories were made simply being together with the people he loved.

Dale will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his love of farming and the outdoors, and the many years he shared with Judy and those he held dear. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.

Dale is survived by his children: John (Carmen) Ravanelli, Dean (Shelly) Ravanelli, Tom (Jenny) Ravanelli, Tim (Lisa) Ravanelli, and Crystal Ravanelli; his sister Mary (Tom) Barnes; his grandchildren: Bryce Ravanelli, Brylee Ravanelli, Caleb Ravanelli, and Dominick Ravanelli; his step grandchildren: Joe Kmiec, Jenna Nice, and Brook Nice; his siblings-in-law: Jean (Russ) Westphal, Stan (Betty) Ojstrsek, Fran (Barb) Ojstrsek, Sue (Scott) Cole, Jane Ojstrsek, and Vince Strupp. Dale is further survived by nieces, nephews, dear relatives and friends.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Judy in 2023; and his sister Virjean Strupp.
