It is with much sadness that I read of the passing of Pete. When I saw him he always had a smile on his face and was quick witted. Condolences to Geraldine and the rest of the family.
Dear Kim, Annette, Debbie and Grandchildren.
Our Deepest Sympathy in this time of loss of your beloved Dad.
Your Dad (Pete) was the most enjoyable, most kind and just all around great guy. Who will ever forget walking into your Grandpa Art and Grandma Ruby's house and hearing that wonderful thunderous laugh somewhere off in the house. I remember we gravitated toward him because you just felt good hearing his laugh and experiencing his great sense of fun. He made you want to be around him. He made you happy to be at a gathering that he was at. He made you feel lucky to have him as your family member. My heart just literally breaks for you girls this week during this very sad loss. Pete truly was a devoted Dad and a kind soul beyond words. He was so loving to my Dad during his illness and often brought laughter to my Dad during his 5 year cancer struggle. Somehow I can only imagine Pete and Harry together at John Deere and the laughter those two inspired.
The Gates of Heaven have opened once again and welcomed home a remarkable man. He is at peace and he is so proud of you girls for all you did for him and for your care of him and his final wishes. He is at peace.
One can only imagine the celebration going on in Heaven this week as Pete, Art, Ruby, Dick, Harry, Grandma Thieme along with all his Family and Friends reunite for some card playing, catching up, amazing meals by Ruby and Grandma and the laughter, oh the laughter must be absolutely amazing.
My thoughts and prayers are with you girls. I Love You Cousins.
