David G. Wodill, 79, of Fall River passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.
David was born on February 24, 1944 in Columbus to Lester and Lucille (Gunnelson) Wodill. He was raised by his parents Lester and Eve Wodill. David was a graduate of Fall River High School. He was married to Connie Huggett on June 12, 1965 at Zion Lutheran Church in Columbus. David was a lifelong farmer on his family’s farm. He loved milking his cows and being part of farm life.
David was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Columbus. He enjoyed playing cards especially a lively game of Euchre. David loved attending his grandkids sporting events. He was a man with no filter but had a heart of gold.
David is survived by his wife Connie of Fall River; his sons: Brian (Katrina) Wodill of Fall River, Brent “BJ” (Amber) Wodill of Fall River, and Brad Wodill of Columbus; four grandchildren: Keally, Keegan, Gavin, and Evelyn; siblings: Dolores (Phil) Oehlert of Columbus, Sherrie (Neal) Stroh of Brandon, Eugene (Pat) Wodill of Fall River, Terry (Linda) Baaske of Fall River, Barb Peer of Ripon, Deb Isaacson of Middleton, and Darlene (Kevin) Hutchison of Waupun; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his father and mother-in-law: Frank and Marygene Huggett; and siblings: Kenny Baaske, Carol Jean Roche, Robert Wodill, and Gary Wodill.
A visitation will be held at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Columbus on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. Rev. Tim Schwartz will officiate. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Columbus.

My Mother knew him prior years !! He was a great 4-H leader and shared in activities !! It was great being a junior leader for Brian ... David always wondering "WHY" we needed all them bugs !
