David Michael Mears

David Michael Mears, age 38, of Reeseville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his home.

There will be a memorial gathering at Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A celebration of David”s life will be held at Bass Hollow Park in Mauston, Wisconsin on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Inurnment will be at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Mauston.

David was born January 25, 1975 in Reedsburg. David married Laurie Jean Eauslin on October 30, 1998 and the couple had four children. The family lived in Reeseville, but David was formerly of the Sauk and Richland county areas.

David is survived by his wife Laurie and his four children, Dominick, Rebecca, Julie and Ronnie; mother Kathie Gahl; sister Tamara Burdick; half-sisters Robin Parduhn, Wendy (Shane) Steyer, Becky (Terry) Dobbs and Shelly Bass; two half-brothers Dan Mears and Ron (Renee) Bass; many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

David was preceded in death by his father, Ronald David Bass, aunts, uncles and his grandparents.
