Dawn M. Schroeder

Dawn M. Schroeder, age 64, of Mayville, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, in her home, surrounded by family.

In following the wishes of the family, a Celebration of Life for Dawn will be held at a later date.

Dawn was the second child born of Carl and Joyce (Whiteaker) Schickowski on May 14, 1959, in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She grew up alongside her older brother, Mark. She was a 1977 graduate of Muskego High School. She worked at Metalcraft for many years in shipping and receiving.

In her younger years, Dawn enjoyed riding horses and playing softball. She enjoyed rides on her Harley, going to Brewer games, or just sitting at the bar enjoying her night. For years, Dawn rarely missed an opportunity to bowl with her Bowling League, where she met some of her closest friends. Her top priority in life was being a mother and a grandmother. While raising her children, she was always in attendance cheering them on during their sporting games. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. Whether you knew Dawn well or not, she would always meet you with a warm, big smile. We will miss that smile and her kind-hearted spirit.

Dawn is survived by her children, Andrew (Marissa) Stapelfeldt of Oshkosh, Christopher (Amber) Stapelfeldt of Ripon, and Katy (Stephen) Battisti of Mayville. Her 4 grandchildren, Mason and Riley Battisti, Jeremy Prellwitz, and Jaxten Stapelfeldt. She is further survived by her brother, Mark (Diana) Schickowski and their children.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
