Delores A. Ulvestad

Delores A. Ulvestad, 85, of Lake Mills passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Brooks Garden Place in Lake Mills, Wisconsin.

A memorial gathering for Delores will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Sandra Schieble officiating.

Delores was born on November 24, 1937 the daughter of Louis W. and Lillie M. (Chandler) Foote in Platteville, Wisconsin.

She was a 1955 graduate of Mineral Point High School.  Delores was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family in her younger years.  Later, she was employed at the Waukesha County Courthouse for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed swimming at the Waukesha YMCA.  She enjoyed gardening.  Delores enjoyed making desserts and will fondly be remembered for her wonderful apple crisp.

Delores is survived by her children: Deborah Ulvestad of Colorado; Jerry Ulvestad of Colorado, Scott (Cathy) Ulvestad of Watertown, Branda Lysaught of Palmyra; her granddaughters: Carrie (Frank) Homme, Deanna (Nick) Zubke and Sophia Ulvestad; six great grandchildren; and her sisters: Gloria Hussey, Fran Jackson, Joyce Landmark and Diane Shaw.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Marcella, Betty, Ruth and Helen and her brother Edward.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Promedica Hospice for their compassionate care and also to the staff of Brooks Gardens Place for their wonderful care of Delores throughout the past several years. Your kindness will always be remembered.
