Delores M. Hanni

Delores Marie Hanni, 83 years, lifelong resident of Iron Ridge, WI passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 2 at 6 pm at Sacred Heart Parish, Horicon with the Rev. Father Michael Petrie presiding. A visitation will take place on Friday, December 2 from 4 until 6 pm at the church in Horicon. A luncheon will follow the Mass at the church. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Woodland.Delores was born on May 30, 1933 to Joseph and Mary (Leigl) Schmid. She was united in marriage to Harold Hanni on October 4, 1952 in Neosho at St. Matthew’s. Delores was a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Woodland, and a current member of Sacred Heart Parish in Horicon. She had served at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Woodland in the Christian Women’s group. In her spare time Delores enjoyed playing cards, square dancing, and bowling. She was also a wonderful cook whose brownies and Christmas cutout cookies were always a family favorite. Delores also enjoyed time up north in Boulder Junction. Family and friends were always an important part of her life and she enjoyed the time spent with her children and grandchildren. Delores is survived by her children- Kenneth (Kate) Hanni of West Bend, Jeffrey Hanni of Iron Ridge, and Mark (Angie) Hanni of Iron Ridge. Daughter in law- Teri Hanni of Hartford. Grandchildren- Dan Hanni, Ben (Paula) Hanni, Joe (Trish) Hanni, Bethany (Dana) Borgschatz, Jennifer (Joe) Schmitz, Mary (fiancé Marcus DeVine) Hanni, Dylan Hanni, Shelby (fiancé Jason Meister) Haynes, and Spencer Hanni. Great Grandchildren- Elaina, Evie, Preston, Kennedy, Hudson, and Cameron. Her sister Shirley Sternweis. Sister in law Doris Muche. She is further survived by other relatives & friends.She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband Harold, sons David and Daniel, and daughter in law Sheryl.
