Dennis A. Laufenberg

January 15, 1947 - January 26, 2024

Dennis A. Laufenberg, age 77, of Iron Ridge was taken too soon from our world to be with his Heavenly Father on January 26, 2024.

A private family inurnment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Milwaukee at a later date.

Dennis was born on January 15, 1947, to Roman and Margaret (Link) Laufenberg in Beaver Dam. He was a 1965 graduate of Mayville High School. He was united in marriage to Gail Gorman on June 24, 1967, in Milwaukee. Dennis grew up in Iron Ridge and was a dairy farmer until his retirement in 2005. He was the secretary and treasurer of the Iron Ridge Trap Shooting Club and was also involved in the Horicon Snowmobile Club. In his spare time, Dennis loved to do woodworking projects and enjoyed making furniture for his family.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Gail Laufenberg of the home, children Douglas (Melissa) Laufenberg of Davenport IA, Ann Laufenberg of Garden City ID, and Neal (Courtney) Laufenberg of Ham Lake, MN; grandchildren Jordan (special friend Brandon), Jacob, Nora, and Lucy; siblings Maynard Laufenberg, Eugene (Frances) Laufenberg, Monica (Dave) Sennhenn; brother and sisters in law Charlotte Laufenberg, Diane (Kimball) Norman and Donna Gorman; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Leonard and Gaylord, sister-in-law Delores, and brother-in-law Dennis Gorman.

The family would like to thank the team at Randolph Health Services in Randolph Wi, for their outstanding care and support of Dennis and our family during his time with them.

The family suggests any desired memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Horicon, WI. These may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of Koepsell Funeral Home, 301 N Walnut St #1135, Mayville, WI 53050
