Dennis R. Huettl

Dennis R. Huettl, 91, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 surrounded by his loving family and his Pastor.

Dennis Robert was born on October 9, 1932, the son of Robert J. and Florence (Wilken) Huettl in Clintonville, Wisconsin.  On July 19, 1958, he was united in marriage with Carmen R. Allard at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon.

Dennis was a faithful member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon.  He loved nature and enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, hunting and gardening.  Most important to Dennis was his family and he loved spending time with them.

Dennis will be deeply missed by his children: Karen (Steve) Lindeman of Beaver Dam, Robert (Sharon) Huettl of Belleville and Cheryl (Steve) Nummerdor of Beaver Dam; grandchildren: Melissa Lindeman, Kayla Huettl, Kyle (Allie) Huettl, Nicole Nummerdor and Ashley (Tyler) Bock; great grandchildren: Richard, Susan, Daniel, Samantha, Damien, Maverick, Aubree, Stephenie, Michael, Zeke and Skymira;  his sister Virginia (Leo) Schmitt and his brothers: Charles (Cheryl ) Huettl and Lawrence (Barbara) Huettl.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Carmen in 2020; granddaughter Catherine Kreger and his brothers: Leslie Huettl and James Huettl.

A visitation for Dennis will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark C. Wilkens officiating.  Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton, Wisconsin.
