Diana Marie Buege

Diana M. Buege, age 71, died on Monday, February 4, 2008 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at St. John”s Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral services for Diana will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the church with Rev. Paul Hirsch officiating. Burial will follow at the Juneau City Cemetery.

The former Diana Marie Brechter was born on January 26, 1937 in Beaver Dam to the late William and Doris (Bentz) Brechter. She was a 1955 graduate of Juneau High School and attended the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, for one year. Diana was united in marriage with Leroy Buege on July 9, 1960 at St. John”s Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau. They owned and operated their farm for many years. Diana worked a Midland Mutual Insurance, Sno-Bird Trailer in Iron Ridge and Beaver Dam Community Hospital. She was a past treasurer of the Parent Teachers Society and was also a longtime member of St. John”s Ev. Lutheran Church.

Diana is survived by her loving children, Sandra (Jason) White of Juneau, Randall Buege of Beaver Dam and Steven (Linda) Buege of Juneau, two grandchildren, Nickolas and Mason, two brothers, Ralph (Louise) Brechter of Gainesville, GA and Gary Brechter of Plano, Tx, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She joins her parents, her husband Leroy, two infant sisters, Rosemary and Sandra, two brothers, Wilbur Gruba and Carroll Brechter, and a sister, Cora Squires.

The family suggests that memorials be made in Diana”s name to St. John”s Ev. Lutheran Church or to the American Lung Association.
