I was a caregiver to Diane over the past year and a half. She took great pride in her home and gardens and had an incredible love of animals, especially cats. I enjoyed my time helping her in her garden and sometimes going to greenhouses shopping around for more flowers! Even on her bad days she would still try fo get out to tend to her plants...a very strong woman to the end. She endured so much and was taken too soon. It was a privilege to help her and keep her independant in her home for as long as possible. I will always remember her with a smile. May she rest in paradise.
My heartfelt condolences are extended to Diane's family. Her loss saddens me greatly but it is a comfort to know she is at peace and rest with her Lord and Savior. As her older cousin, I remember her fondly as a toddler and already had that kind, sweet spirit that stayed with her always. It is disappointing that travel from Florida isn't possible but you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love to you from June & Rick
I was one of Dianes care taker at her house. I loved working for Diane. She was a sweetheart. She always said I made her laugh. She liked when we went to the library, store, etc and then Culver's.
I gave Diane a 60th Birthday party at her house with all of her caretakers. She had so much fun and loved it and thanked me. I made a photo book of the party for her.
I will miss Diane and she sure went through a lot in her yrs. She was a real trooper.
So sorry to hear of Diane's loss may God watch over her family will miss you our classmate
Diane loved her home and garden, and rescuing animals. She was a friend as well as an employer. Diane will be missed.
So sad to hear of Diane's passing. I have a million childhood memories of Diane and her wonderful family. We had such good times during our St. Stephen's days, leaving notes in our shared locker all through high school, and then off to UW-O and Madison General Hospital School of Nursing. We were never angels but we did have fun. Diane left us way too early. She will always be remembered as the one with a big heart and a dear and loyal friend. Until we meet again
My thoughts and prayers are with all of Diane's friends and family. In the short time I spent with her at the care center,I found Diane to be remarkable and a dear soul. She will be missed.
I offer my sympathy to all of you, Diane's family. I was privileged to spend some time with you when I drove Diane to family gatherings. May your memories and faith in God offer comfort and peace. Bev, thank you for calling and leaving a message. I also had news of Diane's death from Faith, one of her caregivers who had visited her in her last days.
I'm living in Elkhart Indiana now and won't get to the funeral. I hope it is meaningful.
Diane was a very kind and thoughtful person, and strong. She managed to do a lot while dealing with Parkinson's. I was very grateful to be a friend and helper.
My condolences to the Behm family. As Sandy Werner's daughter, I grew up calling Diane - Aunt Diane. From a young age, the three of us, along with my brother John, created great memories. From camping and riding the 3 wheeled bikes, to Easter egg hunts in her house (there was always the largest basket at the end of the hunt for us in the dryer), to watching sports games and playing with the cats and kittens she fostered. I am truly grateful for the friendship Diane had with my mom and with many, and will cherish all of the heartfelt memories.
So sorry for your loss. Everett and I send our condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
